EnvironmentEnquiriesCowan is a module providing at run time what Common Lisp calls environment enquiries such as the name of the OS. Implementations can currently expose these as cond-expand feature identifiers, but there is no way to determine things like the name of the implementation at run time so that it can be written to a log file, for example.
