This was a small WG2 proposal for Scheme procedures corresponding to the Common Lisp function [http://www.lispworks.com/documentation/lw50/CLHS/Body/f_search.htm SEARCH].  `Vector-contains` and `list-contains` have been flushed as unnecessary.
